With an audience of more than 40M globally and growing more than 20k per day we're poised to continue taking over broader media.We're expanding further into pop culture: fashion, technology, beauty, sports, eSports, news, entertainment & gossip, food, etc. and new mediums like long-form audio & video and bringing our massive community IRL with experiences & events.We're looking for talented, creative folks like you to join us in building something generational.The OpportunityResponsibilitiesAs VP of Sales your mission is to drive growth of RapTV revenue by getting new brand sponsorships for all of our original content, newsletters, posts, etc. You'll be working with our creative team to pitch branded content, develop relationships and new sponsors.On a day to day basis you'll own:

  • Building a pipeline of prospective brand, agency and media relationships from scratch then continuously growing & optimizing it to convert prospects into new business.
  • Proactively communicating with prospects to pitch & position RapTV and uncover creative ways to partner and provide value.
  • Own brand deals from end to end providing exceptional partner experience from concept to execution. Leading the development from creative concept to packaging & delivery of new business presentations to partners.
  • Collaborating with key internal stakeholders in product development and marketing efforts.
  • Strategizing on the right team & resourcing mix and organizational design to build a world-class brand partnerships organization.
  • Management and team buildingExpected OutcomesThe VP of Sales reports directly to the COO and owns:Outcomes-focused Objectives & KPIs
  • 30% growth in QoQ new brand revenue
  • 2 new brand deals per quarterActivity-focused Objectives & KPIs
  • Pipeline growth
  • Pitches per week or monthWhat We're Looking ForYou must have/be---
    • Demonstrated history of driving new business from concept through sale & execution.
    • A scrappy elf-starter who can build a function from scratch: willing to build cold outbound from scratch including making cold-calls.
    • Well-networked with a rolodex of contacts.
    • Exceptionally organized and able to handle multiple critical projects & deadlines concurrently.
    • Extensive client-facing experience in a sales and/or account management capacity.
    • Ability to travel as needed for partner pitches & meetings.
    • Experience in media, entertainment, brand and/or agency industry; music industry is a plus.You might have/be---
      • Experience managing & leading a team and/or interest in growing into this capacity.What We Offer
