Vice President of Finance - Hospitality Industry

Miami (onsite)

My client is a large restaurant group that has continued to be extremely successful and their growth isn't tapering off anytime soon! As they continue to grow, so does their team, therefore they have asked us to help them find an amazing VP of Finance for their team!

Key Responsibilities:

• Budget and forecast for the month and year ahead along with the CFO, make presentations to the CFO
• Prepare for financial audits and ensure that everything is prepared correctly
• Prepare financial reports that can be used both internally and externally
• Conduct in depth financial analysis and offer advice to executives
• Prepare the financial statements at the end of the fiscal year in accordance with the accounting principals accepted in the United States of America
• Continuous research to improve the systems and procedures in place, always looking for a better and more efficient way to get the job done
• Work on any special projects assigned by CEO and CFO
  
  Key Requirements:
  
  • Must have 7 years in a similar role and a minimum of 5 years of people management
  • Must have at least a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; a master's degree in accounting or finance is preferred
  • CPA is preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Advanced knowledge of account and reporting software's
  • Must possess a strong and positive work ethic
  • Proven ability to lead and coach a team
  • Experience within restaurants is essential
  • Solid experience looking after payroll for a large company with over 1000 employees
  • Experience managing a team
  • Outstanding communication and strong interpersonal skills
