Job OverviewA private credit firm specializing in direct lending
to middle-market companies is looking to bring on a Director of
National Accounts to join their fundraising team. In this role, you
will be responsible for developing and building out the private
wealth distribution channel, driving business growth, and
establishing strong relationships with RIAs, high-net-worth
individuals, family offices, and wirehouses. The ideal candidate
will have a proven track record in the industry and a strong
network in the private credit or similar alternative asset
- Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy to build and grow
the private wealth distribution channel for our private credit
- Identify and target potential clients, including high-net-worth
individuals, family offices, wealth advisors, and other relevant
- Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders to
establish the firm as a trusted partner and provider of private
- Collaborate with the marketing and investment teams to create
compelling marketing materials, presentations, and educational
resources to support the distribution efforts.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify
trends, opportunities, and areas for differentiation in the private
wealth management space.
- Stay updated with industry regulations, compliance
requirements, and market developments that may impact the
- Provide regular reports, updates, and insights on distribution
activities, client feedback, and market trends to senior
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and
servicing of clients, addressing their needs and inquiries in a
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, CFP)
- Proven experience (10+years) in private wealth management,
private banking, or a similar role with a focus on alternative
investments, such as private credit.
- Strong network and relationships within the RIAs, wirehouses,
high-net-worth individual and family offices.
- Excellent knowledge of private credit investment products and
the broader alternative investment landscape.
- Demonstrated track record of successfully building and managing
distribution channels, driving business growth, and meeting sales
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation
- Ability to analyze market trends, identify opportunities, and
develop effective strategies.
- Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements in the
