Job Description:
As a strategic member of Edgeuno's executive leadership team,
the Chief Information Officer (CIO) will lead the company's
Information Systems function, ensuring that technology capabilities
are robust, scalable, secure, and aligned with the company's
ambitious growth and innovation goals. The CIO will drive digital
transformation, operational excellence, internal IT modernization,
and enterprise-wide AI adoption - while ensuring strong alignment
with all key business stakeholders and cybersecurity
leadership.Core Responsibilities
- Strategic Technology Leadership: Define and execute a
forward-thinking Information Systems strategy that aligns with
Edgeuno's operational needs and long-term business objectives.
- Internal IT Modernization: Drive best-in-class internal
systems, tools, and IT infrastructure, exceeding "good enough"
standards to meet the expectations of a technology-driven CEO and
an innovation-focused organization.
- Business Partnership & Stakeholder Alignment: Act as a
technology partner to all executive leaders (CEO, COO, CFO, HR, VP
of Operations), gathering and translating business requirements
into scalable, efficient technical solutions.
- Digital Transformation: Lead initiatives that enhance
automation, operational scalability, and customer experience across
the organization.
- AI Adoption & Innovation: Identify, pilot, and scale AI-based
solutions across operational and customer-facing functions to
enhance efficiency, service delivery, and competitive
advantage.
- Corporate Systems Evolution: Oversee the continuous improvement
and integration of business systems (ERP, CRM, BSS/OSS, financial
and operational platforms), supporting decision-making and
growth.
- Cybersecurity Execution: Align closely with the Chief
Information Security Officer (CISO) to enforce and operationalize
security strategies, ensuring compliance, data protection, and
system integrity.
- Technology Governance & KPIs: Establish governance structures,
performance metrics, and accountability frameworks for all areas
under the CIO's purview.
- Vendor Management: Manage relationships with technology vendors
and partners to ensure optimal service delivery, cost efficiency,
and innovation enablement.
- Business Continuity & Resilience: Develop and maintain strong
business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
- Leadership & Culture: Inspire and lead high-performing,
cross-functional technology teams while fostering a culture of
innovation, accountability, and collaboration.Requirements
- Proven executive experience as a CIO, VP/Director of
Information Systems, or equivalent in a complex, high-growth
environment.
- Deep technical expertise across IT infrastructure, SRE, DevOps,
BSS/OSS, systems architecture, and software development.
- Demonstrated success in leading large-scale digital
transformation, cloud migrations, and AI adoption.
- Track record of managing multidisciplinary teams, senior
managers, and external vendors with a focus on service
excellence.
- Experience operationalizing cybersecurity strategies in
partnership with a dedicated CISO function.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with
the ability to translate complex technical concepts into strategic
business value.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems,
Engineering or related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree
preferred.
- Fluency in English required, along with proficiency in either
Portuguese or Spanish. Proficiency in all three language is a
strong advantage.Desired Profile
