The Clinical Research Coordinator provides professional level support for research clinical studies involving human subjects and assists in the design of studies, generation of databases, and update and maintenance of documentation. Moreover, the Clinical Research Coordinator develops, verifies, and implements procedures to accomplish research goals.The duties and responsibilities for this position may include, but are not limited to:

• Recruitment and screening of participants, obtain informed consent, and follow participants in accordance with clinical trial protocols.
• Coordinating research activities such as scheduling screening assessments, randomization, study product interventions, and follow up assessments. Coordinate laboratory specimen processing and shipment of biological specimens.
• Maintain and organize study files and enter data into electronic case report forms (eCRFs).
• Maintains compliance with all required training
• Provides effective leadership and oversight to the administrative aspects of research study.
• Provides assistance with IRB processes (e.g., abiding by requirement for reporting safety or study deviations, initiating modifications to study procedures
• Ensures policy compliance of research funds and maintains confidentiality.
• Responsible for ordering and maintaining stock of necessary supplies. Minimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree in a basic science related discipline with at least three years of relevant experience. Prefer knowledge of basic medical terminology. Skill in completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail. Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work under pressure while meeting deadlines. Ability to process and handle confidential information with discretion. Ability to work evenings, nights, and weekends as necessary. Commitment to the University's core values. Ability to work independently and/or in a collaborative environment.
