Physician / OBGYN / Miami, FL
OBGYN Physician Needed in Miami, Florida.
Join seven OBGYN Physicians in a hospital based practice in Miami
Florida. You will be employed by the hospital. Your contract will
be anywhere from 2-5 years in length. Salary ranges discussed at
first telephone interview or on site visit, and remain competitive
within MGMA ranges. Production incentive. Full benefits including
29 paid days off per year and OCCURENNCE BASED MALPRACTICE
INSURANCE.The practice is approximately 65% OB, 35% Gyn. Each
physician averages 15-20 deliveries per month. OR time is reserved
for all Physicians for elective cases weekly. Group does both
majors and minors weekly. Elective gyn surgery is a good area for
growth. There is ample emergency gyn surgeries while on call. The
practice has three clinic sites, One on the hospital grounds and
the others are within 15 minutes of the hospital. New physician
will be based at a brand new outpatient center located in a very
affluent area of Miami . All offices are fully equipped and up to
date. All have EMR. Hospital L and D facility as well as OR with up
to date equipment and excellent staff.Office hours are 9-12 and
1-5pm. Call is 1-7, 24 hour call, in-house. Day off after call.
Patient population is made up of approximately 60% Medicaid and 40%
third party payor or self-pay. Some of the patients are unassigned
and admitted through the ER. A significant portion of the patients
get prenatal care through two local FQHC clinics and have very good
prenatal care, with records available. The rest are our private
office patients.The practice delivers / procedures out of one
hospital. Hospital has a Level III nursery and fully equipped NICU.
24 hour in house Anest, Peds, MFM and Neonatal physicians.
