best!Description Under direct supervision, identifies patients who
require authorizations for treatment and/or office visits, reviews
treatment plans and follows up with referring physician offices and
insurance companies to secure the required authorizations, follows
insurance company guidelines and procedure for authorization
requests, data entry of patient PHI into EMR and Business
Management systems, communicates with management and staff and
works to resolve issues. This position is held accountable for the
chemotherapy and supportive drugs approved/overlooked. Supports and
adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, to include the HIPAA
laws, Code of Ethics and Business Standards.Estimated pay range for
this position is %2416.52 - %2419.99 / hour depending on
experience. Qualifications High School Diploma, Certificate of
Attendance, Certificate of Completion, GED, or equivalent training
or experience required. Working with insurance companies and
patient authorizations, preferably in the oncology field. Must have
proficient computer skills including, EMR and electronic medical
management system, outlook and MS Word, ARIA & Centricity
proficiency preferred. Education and training in medical
terminology preferred. Minimum Required Experience: 3 Years Job:
