Responsibilities:The Clinical Therapist is responsible for performing a wide variety of patient care activities as directed by the Clinical Director. Clinician will be responsible for patient caseload and will provide group, individual, and family therapy. Clinician will conduct psychosocial and bio-psychosocial assessments. Clinician will collaborate with the Treatment Team to formulate the Master Treatment Plan, and assist in coordinating discharge planning. The Clinician has primary responsibility for maintaining communication with the family, referral source and other service providers as needed.Core Job DutiesProvides excellent individual, family and group therapy to assigned patients following program curriculum provided by ClinicalCompletes all required documentation ensuring compliance with all company policies and procedures, state regulations, Joint Commission standards and Medical Needs Criteria. This includes the following documents:Bio-psychosocial AssessmentIntegrated SummaryComprehensive Problem ListIntegrated Master Treatment Plan and UpdatesIndividual, family and group therapy session notesDischarge summaryEffectively uses therapeutic interventions to assist patients with accomplishing all treatment plans goals and objectives and successfully completeEffectively prepares patient for maintaining sobriety postMaintain referent contact weekly or as required by Clinical Director.Demonstrates sufficient comprehension of the 12 Steps, SMART Recovery and Substance Use DisordersConsistently identifies areas for improvement within the department by studying data and developing, implementing and documenting plans for improvement and outcomesMiami Facility #ZRQualifications:Master's DegreeAt least two (2) years of clinical experience in mental health field (additional training may substitute for one year)Bilingual Preferred (English, Spanish)Licensed in the state of Florida with one of the following:LMHC (Licensed Mental Health Counselor)LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker)LMFT (Licensed Marriage & Family TherapistKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:Demonstrates proficiency in communication and written skillsKnowledge of State and Federal statutes regarding patient confidentiality lawsKnowledge of licensing and accreditation standardsThe Recovery Village is part of Advanced Recovery Systems, a national integrated behavior healthcare management company dedicated to the treatment of addiction, substance abuse, eating disorders and mental health issues.The Company complies with state and federal nondiscrimination laws and policies that prohibit discrimination based on age, color, disability, national origin, race, religion, or sex.
