Proficient at performing the day-to-day functions of the PPR in the medical office to include answering the phones, check-in, check-out, charge entry, insurance verification and scheduling complex patient appointments, diagnostic treatments and/or surgery. Ensures patient medical records are ready for the clinic and that all pertinent billing information has been captured and accurately entered into the EMRor other business management system. Communicates effectively with patients, co-workers, office manager and physician(s) on important matters. Practices the Baptist Health philosophy of service excellence in providing professional, compassionate and friendly service to patients, physicians and each other.
Estimated pay range for this position is $15.42 - $18.66 / hour depending on experience.Qualifications:Degrees:
High School,Cert,GED,Trn,Exper

Additional Qualifications:
Detail-oriented, organized, team player, compassionate, excellent customer service, verbal and written skills, high ethical standards, HIPAA Privacy & Security compliance required. Bilingual preferred. Proficient EMR skills, knowledge of healthcare regulatory guidelines, and medical terminology.
