Our nurses who work within the--Labor and Delivery--unit--assisting new mothers and infants.--Registered nurse responsibilities include all aspects of patient care. This care includes monitoring heart rate, blood pressure, breathing and respiration, as well as managing the pain and nausea.--
    What qualifications you will need:--- Licensed Registered Nurse in the state of Florida or Recognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing Requirements, including/not limited to ongoing eligibility and duration provisions).--- Minimum of 1 year previous clinical Maternal/Child experience.--- One year (1) year of Lactation Nursing experience preferred.--- American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and certification.--- IBCLC certification required.--- Current NRP certification or obtain within 6 months of hire.--- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.--- Basic computer knowledge.This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).HCA Florida Palms West Hospital is a 204-bed facility in Palm Beach County.
