Job Details
We are seeking a licensed physician to provide virtual health services to patients in Florida.

We have an excellent opportunity for a physician to provide telemedicine services to patients in their home who may otherwise be seen in an Emergency Department. This program (ED in Home) is an alternative to an Emergency Department encounter for eligible patients and provides clinical services in the patient's home via a community paramedic tethered to a virtual emergency physician. The virtual emergency physician oversees the community paramedic in the home and is responsible for all elements of the patient's care throughout the ED in Home encounter, including any transitions of care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide acute care via a telephonic and video platform for patients with high acuity medical complaints
• Partner with community paramedics in the home to provide the necessary diagnostics and therapeutics needed to care for patients with high acuity medical complaints
• Partner with the patient's PCP clinical care team to provide quality and safe transitions of care
• Develop plans of care, which may include acute hospital substitution in the home, transfer to a local Emergency Department or hand off to the referring PCP clinical care team for ongoing longitudinal care
• Communicate and collaborate with specialists as it relates to the care of the ED in Home patient
• Serve as the clinical lead overseeing a team comprised of service care coordinators
• Work collaboratively with physicians and nurses in the ED in Home program
  Qualifications:
  • Board Certified in Emergency Medicine, with a minimum of 5 years of practice as an attending physician
  • Committed to providing high quality, evidenced based medicine to a diverse patient population
  • Excellent clinical and communication skills
  • Comfortable working in virtual platforms to deliver high quality care
  • Comfortable interacting with the in-home clinician via video and texting platforms to provide care in place
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
