The Department of has an exciting opportunity for a full-time
Division Administrator, Clinical to work in Miami, Fl. The Division
Administrator, Clinical works in conjunction with the departments
administrators to provide leadership to the assigned functional
area within the organization. The incumbent analyzes practice
operations and needs to determine potential enhancements or
improvements to operational procedures and develops supporting
patient accounting policies and procedures.
+ Ensures compliance with established policies and procedures.
+ Develops and maintains systems for managing and reporting the
divisions activities.
+ Maintains close liaison and positive working relationships with
faculty and staff.
+ Provides leadership in developing business strategies and tactics
to support the goals of the division and Health Systems strategic
plans for market growth and development.
+ Oversees the performance management processes and outcomes for
employees and physicians.
+ Supports professional development of the workforce and performs
needs assessments to determine continuing education needs of
staff.
+ Monitors staff and physician satisfaction.
+ Supports quality improvement processes and pursues the spread of
best practice in operations consistent with overall network
goals.
+ Directs the planning and strategic formation of clinical program
goals.
+ Analyzes and reviews financial and productivity reports.
+ Oversees business plan development for capital projects.
+ Provides overall administrative direction and coordination for
revenue cycle management policies, procedures, and programs.
+ Establishes and continuously assesses the effectiveness of the
internal controls within the unit and compliance with University
policies and procedures. Ensures employees are trained on controls
within the function and on University policy and procedures.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
+ Bachelors degree in relevant field
+ Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
+ Ability to direct, manage, implement, and evaluate department
operations.
+ Ability to establish department goals and objectives that support
the strategic plan.
+ Ability to effectively plan, delegate and/or supervise the work
of others.
+ Ability to exercise sound judgment in making critical
decisions.
+ Commitment to the Universitys core values.
+ Ability to maintain effective interpersonal relationships.
DEPARTMENT SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS
+ This role is responsible for the management and training of the
clinical nursing staff. Direct supervision of nursing staff.
Rotates through clinical locations on a weekly basis to ensure
nursing compliance for each clinical site.
+ Oversees day to day medical clinical matters and concerns. Works
closely with Sr. Practice Manager and department administrators to
ensure clinical issues are resolved quickly and effectively.
+ Creates and manages weekly nursing coverage schedule.
+ Works closely with lead nurse to ensures all nursing staff is
properly trained in dermatology procedures, patient education and
internal processes to ensure safety guidelines are upheld.
+ Works closely with medical director and lead nurse, to institute
medical protocols for clinics. Maintains and creates guidelines for
proper clinical procedures that ensure patient safety, comfort, and
quality of care.
+ Performs quarterly review of cosmetic inventory and for resale
products. Reports finding to department administrator and monitors
sales.
+ Works with department administrator to review new products, set
up new vendors and new service lines. Oversees new product roll out
and monitor sales.
+ Maintain record of updated certifications for clinical employees
(BLS, HIV class and MA, LPN certification).
+ Department point person for clinical regulatory processes and
issues. Responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory agency
standards (e.g., OSHA, JCAHO, HIPAA, CLIA, AHCA, etc.)
+ Oversees the JCAHO compliance for the department.
+ Creates and coordinates training of Emergency Disaster Plan and
Biohazard Exposure Plan per location and uploading on onto
Infection Control site.
+ Manages Biomedical tagging and service PM of all equipment and
maintenance of records.
+ Works closely with the office of Infection Control to ensure the
department is in line with all state and university
regulations.
