Up to $30,000 Sign-On bonus for experienced Registered Nurse / RN
Summary
The Registered Nurse / RN is responsible for administering direct and indirect nursing care to an assigned group of patients who are scheduled for Surgical procedures in the Short Stay Unit. The Registered Nurse / RN performs assessment, intervention, evaluation, and teaching as they relate to the surgical procedure. The Registered Nurse / RN provides patient care as part of a multi-disciplinary team based on national standards, and utilizing the nursing process. The Registered Nurse / RN functions within the Nurse Practice Act and other regulating bodies providing patient focused care. The Registered Nurse / RN participates in process improvement, professional education, committees and meetings to maintain competence and advance the mission and values of Good Samaritan Medical Center. Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Qualifications
EducationRequired: Graduate of an accredited School of NursingPreferred: Academic degree in nursing (Bachelors or Masters degree)
CertificationsRequired: Licensed Registered Nurse, State of FloridaCurrent BLS and ACLS certification, PALS within 1 year of hire
