Job Description:

We are currently seeking a LocumsAnesthesia Physician for a 3-month assignment. This position offers a "NoCall/No Weekends" schedule, providing a great work-life balance. As an Anesthesia Physician, you will beresponsible for providing anesthesia care to patients undergoing varioussurgical procedures. The types of cases include general surgery, ENT,neurosurgery, vascular, GU, gynecology, obstetrics, orthopedics, thoracic,plastics, and pediatrics. The majority of cases are in the areas of general,neurology, and GU. The average monthly case volume is 2500,and the required procedures are diverse and comprehensive. You will be expectedto have proficiency in ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) and PALS (PediatricAdvanced Life Support). The shifts for this position are fromMonday to Friday, with five shifts per week. Each shift is 8 hours long,providing flexibility and predictable working hours. The minimum number of shiftsrequired per month is 20, ensuring consistent coverage throughout the week. As an Anesthesia Physician, you will workin collaboration with a team of 2-4 CRNAs, whom you will supervise andoccasionally perform cases alongside. Board certification is a requirement forthis role, and we do not accept board-eligible or new graduates. An activeFlorida medical license and DEA registration are also mandatory prior topresentation. Responsibilities:

• Provide anesthesia care to patients undergoing various surgical procedures.
• Develop and implement individualized anesthesia plans based on patient needs.
• Administer anesthesia and monitor patients' vital signs during surgical procedures.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the perioperative period.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction.
• Supervise and occasionally perform cases alongside CRNAs. Qualifications:
  • Board certification as an Anesthesia Physician.
  • Active Florida medical license and DEA registration.
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification.
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification.
