JOB DESCRIPTION Job Title: UMMG Staff Physician Summary of Job Responsibilities: UMMG Staff Physician will provide high quality medical care to patients with endocrine diseases . The incumbent conducts examinations, assesses and evaluates symptoms, determines conditions, and prescribes medical treatment or services . Outline of additional responsibilities included but are not limited to:+ Provide outpatient care to patients primarily at UHealth - Main campus and satellite practices.+ Provide inpatient care to patient s at UHealth - Tower a nd Jackson Memorial Hospital.+ Engage in training of Endocrinology fellows, residents, and medical students.+ Oversees mid-level medical staff as assigned as well as nursing clinical staff. Qualifications:+ MD Degree and ACGME US internal medicine internship and residency+ Valid American Board Certification in Endocrinology (or board eligible)+ Valid unrestricted Florida Medical License or eligible to apply. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: ?+ Knowledge of and ability to apply professional medical principles, procedures, and techniques.?+ Must maintain CME to meet institutional and state licensing requirements?+ Must have excellent clinical knowledge and experience to provide safe and quality care to patients and meet institutional standards of care?+ Current BLS certification required. ACLS (if applicable).?+ Valid DEA licensure?
