Unlock your potential at HCA Florida Mercy Hospital!Job Summary And QualificationsWe are seeking an Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our Surgical Services Department. You will provide clinicalexpertiseto ensure all patients receive high quality, efficient care in a surgical environment. We are an amazing team that works hard to support each other and are seeking a phenomenal addition like you who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do.What you will do in this role:
  • You will assess, plan, intervene and evaluate the care of intra-operative patients.
  • You willassistsurgeons in operative procedures patients.
  • You willmaintainand review patients' records including posting tests and examination results.
  • You will administer medicationsin accordance withphysician orders.What You Will Have in This Role:
    • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing preferred
    • Current State of Florida Registered RN License, or recognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing Requirements, including/not limited to ongoing eligibility and duration provisions)
    • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS Certification via American Heart Association or American Red Cross
    • Advanced certifications (i.e. CEN, TNCC, etc.) preferred
    • One or more years of experience as an OR RN preferred
    • Minimum of one year of experience in a hospital setting required
    • On-call rotation required -Must Live within 30 minutes of the facilityHCA Florida Mercy Hospital is a 488-bed facility. We are accredited by the Joint Commission and offer a wide range of medical specialties. These specialties include emergency care, heart, and vascular care. We are designated by the Joint Commission as a Primary Stroke Center. Other specialties include maternity and neonatal care. We are a Level II NICU hospital. HCA Florida Mercy Hospital is CARF accredited for inpatient rehabilitation. Our facility offers a Comprehensive Community Cancer Program. This program is accredited by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer. We are affiliated with HCA Florida Healthcare Division.
