Overview: In this role, you will apply the nursing process to
deliver exceptional patient care. You will hold professional
accountability for the care provided to your assigned patients and
assess the overall effectiveness of care delivered by other
caregivers. Collaboration with various departments to coordinate
patient care is essential. Upholding patient rights and ensuring
the confidentiality of patient information are critical aspects of
this position. Your responsibilities will align with our mission,
values, and service standards. Position Details:Qualifications:
Education: Completion of a nursing program (Associate’s Degree,
Diploma, or BSN) is required. Licensure: You must obtain and
maintain a current RN license in the state of employment or hold
compact licensure, fulfilling all state board of nursing
requirements. Physical Requirements: Regularly push, pull, or lift
up to 50 pounds. Prolonged standing and walking are necessary
during each shift. Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and
squat to perform job duties. Experience: Certifications: A Basic
Life Support certification from the American Heart Association is
required or must be completed within 30 days of hire. Depending on
the specific position or unit, additional certifications may be
required within a designated timeframe, including: ACLS (Advanced
Cardiac Life Support) NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) ENPC
(Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core
Course) CPHON (Certified Pediatric/Hematology/Oncology Nurse) OCN
(Oncology Certified Nurse) BLS (Basic Life Support) PALS (Pediatric
Advanced Life Support) PEARS (Pediatric Assessment Recognition and
Stabilization) S.T.A.B.L.E. (Sugar, Temperature, Airway, Blood
Pressure, Lab Work, And Emotional Support) C-EFM (Fetal Monitor
Certification) Other unit-specific certifications as necessary.
