Job Summary and Qualifications As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic procedures using ultrasound imaging to detect and evaluate pathology. You will operate and adjust ultrasound equipment, ensure high-quality images are captured, and upload studies to PACS. In addition, you will support the daily operations of the Ultrasound Department, contributing to efficient workflow and high standards of patient care. What qualifications you will need: Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date (RVT) Registered Vascular Technician must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date Vocational School Graduate (RDMS-AB) RDMS Abdomen Specialty, or (RDMS-OB/GYN) RDMS Obstetrics & Gynecology HCA Florida Palms West Hospital is a 204-bed facility in Palm Beach County. We offer preventative and elective programs and surgeries. We are an Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) Primary Stroke Center. HCA Florida Palms West Hospital has emergency services, a dedicated New Life Center and a Level II NICU. We have a full-service Children’s Hospital. Services include outpatient rehabilitation, an aquatics center, orthopedic spine center, robotics, and interventional radiology.
