Registered Respiratory Therapist Location: Loxahatchee, FL Agency: Jackson HealthPros Pay: $1,113 to $1,313 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/6/2026 About the Position We’re hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local healthcare provider where you’ll be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders. Minimum Requirements: Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program. Current state license in good standing with the State License Board. Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT). BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required. Minimum 2 years of recent acute care hospital RRT experience. Experience with Meditech is preferred. Preferred: Stroke education/experience and NRP. These are preferred but not required. Assignment Details Facility type: Hospital. Unit: Respiratory Therapy supporting a 12-bed unit within a 204-bed acute care medical/surgical facility. Shift name: Nights. Shift hours: 1900–0730. Patient ratios typically 1:1 or 2:1. Typical equipment: oxygen cylinders and concentrators, nebulizers, suction machines, CPAP and BiPAP devices. EMR: Meditech. Team structure: director, lead RRTs, permanent RRT staff, and per diem support. Night coverage varies with volume.
