Registered Respiratory Therapist Location: Loxahatchee, FL Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,467 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/27/2026 About the Position Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: RRT Specialty: Respiratory Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of current acute care hospital RRT experience License: Must be a registered RRT Certifications: BLS, ACLS, & PALS are an absolute must Description: The Respiratory Therapist provides treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with respiratory insufficiencies. Responsibilities include managing patients with conditions such as asthma, pneumonia, and emphysema. The unit consists of 12 beds, staffed with 5-8 members, including a director and permanent staff. Patient ratios are typically 1:1 or 2:1, depending on the volume. Equipment used in this role includes oxygen cylinders and concentrators, nebulizers, suction machines, CPAP, and BIPAP machines. An ideal candidate will be a team player with a patient care focus and strong critical thinking skills. The work environment is fast-paced, requiring active disciplinary approaches and collaborative relationships with physicians. Preferred candidates will have ICU experience and familiarity with Meditech. Dress code includes gray scrubs for Respiratory Therapy.
