Licensed Registered Nurse in the state of Florida
or Recognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing
Requirements, including/not limited to ongoing eligibility and

Two (2) years of Emergency Trauma Nursing experience preferred.
Working in close collaboration with the Trauma Medical Director and
Trauma Program Manager to ensure compliance with trauma standards
and guidelines, the Trauma Performance Improvement Nurse is
responsible for the coordination and facilitation of the Trauma
Performance Improvement and Patient Safety program, which
encompasses all areas and disciplines of the hospital that
participate in the care of admitted injured patients. Provides
coordination and facilitation of performance improvement data
collection, analysis, trending, and benchmarking of data and
outcomes. This position is also responsible for improving trauma
care both within the organization and the region, promoting fiscal
responsibility, and optimizing patient and family outcomes. Reports
to the Trauma Program Director.
