The Guest Services/Front Office Manager is responsible for
assisting in the oversight of the entire Front Office area
including Guest Services and Front Office. The Guest Services/Front
Office Manager will have oversight of the front office staff, cash
control for agents, staffing needs, guest needs. This position
requires strong attention to detail and ability to effectively deal
with guests, both delight and resolve guest concerns, and deal with
other departments and team members. Responsibilities may also
include staff training, development, goal setting, and scheduling.
The Guest Services/Front Office Manager will promote an atmosphere
that insures customer and colleague satisfaction is top priority.
This position reports directly to Director of Operations. Must be
able to work holidays, weekends, nights, overnight as need based on
business needs. Experience with hotel front office operations
mandatory, some housekeeping experience preferred,
Hotel/Hospitality degree an asset, experience with OPERA PMS,
HotSos preferred. Applicants must be able to work holidays,
weekends, nights, overnight if needed in cases of emergency.
