SUMMARY OF POSITION: The Associate I is responsible for providing a range of routine customer service and support to patients for the US MED Direct cash sales business unit. The associate is also responsible for other operational tasks within the department such as processing orders, documenting returns, and maintaining accurate patient records.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (List the functions that the individual who holds or desires the position must be able to perform unaided or with the assistance of a reasonable accommodation).

Act as the customer coordinator for all cash orders, provide professional customer service and identify order improvement opportunities.

Communicate with distributors to ensure appropriate stock of items on cash store and for invoice approvals.

Log into the interactive client system daily to provide availability for customer service calls.

Process all US MED Direct cash orders timely and accurately through Shopify.

Provide patients with accurate, timely, and satisfactory solutions to potential & arising complaints & concerns about their orders, devices, usage, and physician-ordered prescription(s).

Overcome objections & effectively resolve customer concerns with the goal of retaining patient accounts. Offer alternative solutions as appropriate.

Ensure all calls are notated in patient's account, including service issues. Update patient files for known changes to patient records.

Process returns through following departmental guidelines. Contact patients for clarification on returns if needed. Record and destroy devices as required by FDA guidelines.

Ensure appropriate representation of US MED by demonstrating the greatest degree of professionalism & conduct.

Maintain a working knowledge of all programs including company products & services.

Meet project deadlines as assigned by supervisor.

Be responsive to ongoing feedback & training from supervisor.

Adhere to all policies and procedures related to providing consistent, superior customer / patient care.

Ability to be cross trained across department functions and assist others as needed or required.
