Role Overview

Our Market Bar Manager take the lead in ensuring that the best of
the city under one roof provides each of our guests and team
members a memorable experience with each visit.
Responsibilities:
Assist guests with liquor, cocktails, beer and wine
Anticipate guest needs. Provide information to guests regarding our
venues, menus and pricing
Ensure all cocktails, liquor, beer and wine are presented and
served correctly and all pouring techniques are adhered to as
specified by company standards.
Ensure all liquor, beer, cocktails & wine is served according to
the company specifications,
Follow the order of service
Ensure that all wine lists and cocktail lists are in perfect
condition always.
Assist with any trade events on choice of liquor, beer, cocktail &
wines, order quantities, glass selection, service style, timing
etc.
Know and describe all liquor, beer, wines and cocktails on the
list
Order if stock levels are below par levels
Participate in training sessions and briefings to improve the
staff's overall knowledge of liquor, beer, cocktail and wine in
general,
Attend liquor/wine tastings and meetings on designated days
Attend trade events and liquor/wine tastings as requested
Maintain company brand "beverage culture" through actively
participating in training sessions with the staff
Ensure storage rooms, liquor rooms, bars and wine coolers are kept
neat and organized
Check deliveries to ensure correct quantity, liquor, beer & wine
types and vintages are delivered
Ensure that glassware and necessary equipment for liquor, beer &
wine is always within the par levels and anticipate lead times for
further ordering
Maintain proper inventory levels of liquor, beer, wine, other
beverages and supplies
Check beverage and food orders prior to serving to ensure that they
are correct, properly presented and that special requests have been
met
Organize and prioritize service per appropriate service
sequence
Ensure proper maintenance of -bar areas.
Ability to create and maintain service rapport through the company
corporate philosophy
Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a courteous and polite
manner
Adhere to all company Standard Operating Procedures
Maintain all Company Sequence of Service Standards
Comply with all safety and health department procedures and all
state and federal liquor laws.
Maintain company safety and sanitation standards
Ensure nightly/weekly and opening/running/closing duties are
completed
Assists and/ or completes additional tasks as assigned

General Requirements:
21+ years of age
Possession of or the ability to possess all state required work
cards
Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
Education Requirements:
High School Diploma required. Bachelor's degree preferred
Working Knowledge Requirements:
Minimum of two to three (2-3) years of restaurant operations
experience required
Expert knowledge of restaurant operations including food, beverage,
service techniques, and guest interaction
Above average skill in math and algebraic equations using
percentage
Proficient in Windows Microsoft Office, Mac OSX, POS systems
