  • Administers various human resource plans and procedures for regional employees.
  • Assist with updating the compensation program; rewrites job descriptions as necessary; conducts annual salary surveys; analyzes compensation; monitors the performance evaluation program and revises as necessary.
  • recommends, and implements personnel policies and procedures; Assist with maintaining handbook on policies and procedures; Assist with benefits administration upon request.
  • Participates and maintains regional affirmative action programs; Maintains other records, reports, and logs to conform to EEO regulations.
  • Partners with Manager, Talent Acquisition on all recruiting activities; works with supervisors to screen and interview candidates; extends job offers; conducts new-employee on-boarding; monitors career-path program and employee relations counseling; conducts exit interviews.
  • Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of HR department and services performed.
  • Ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Participate in and potentially lead, allegation investigations. Education:
    • Degree in Business or Human Resources or similarRequirements:
      • 3 - 5 years of Human Resources experience
      • Posess knowledge or familiarity with Florida Employment Laws
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications including Word, Excel, Publisher, Outlook, and PowerPoint
      • Construction experience highly preferred
      • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
      • Strong interpersonal skillsStandout qualifications:
        • PHR/SHRM Certification strongly
