Primary Function

This position will be responsible for ensuring Ardurra's operations and policies comply with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards. Their primary role is to develop, implement, and oversee compliance and safety programs to ensure that the organization meets all regulatory requirements.

Primary Duties

  • Knowledge of purpose and content of Affirmative Action Plans. Work with vendor to prepare plans annually - provide data, respond to questions from Vendor, and coordinate process to see Plans to completion.
  • Responsibility for annual filing of EEO-1 and California Pay Data Reporting
  • Report work-related injuries/illnesses to Workers Comp. Carrier; maintain log of injuries/illnesses; prepare OSHA Logs and ensure that posting requirement is met.
  • Assist in the development, implementation, reporting, and updating of compliance, immigration, regulatory and safety policies and procedures to ensure that the organization complies with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Conduct regular internal audits to identify any areas of non-compliance and develop corrective actions to address them.
  • Maintain a close relationship with the HR Strategic Partnership Team and Talent Acquisition regarding immigration cases, requesting case-related information as needed, and keeping the business and the employee apprised of case updates as they become available
  • Provide tracking, guidance and training on immigration, safety, and compliance issues, policies, and procedures.
  • Responsible for the management of employment-based non-immigrant visa applications handled by external counsel
  • Maintains compliance with I-9 Records and E-Verification requirements
  • Manages the process for creating and maintaining Human Resources Standard Operating Procedures and communication
  • Arrange post-injury medical care & arrange drug testing protocols
  • Manage various safety-related projects from planning to execution and completion
  • Ensures that the US labor law posters are updated as necessary and as required; manage third party labor law poster vendor relationship.
  • Conduct regular internal audits to identify any areas of non-compliance and develop corrective actions to address them.
  • Perform other related duties, as required, in order to meet business needs.
    Education and Experience Requirements
    • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, legal studies, project management or a similar field of study.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in human resources management/compliance
    • Ability to develop and implement HR strategies that support business objectives.
    • strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently
    • Experience in the engineering industry or a related field is preferred.
