Job DescriptionWork with an expert team of developers to build the next great OTT streaming apps for SmartTVs, Set-Top Boxes, and mobile devices. We are conducting a search for a great JavaScript developer who is proficient with React.js. Your primary focus will be on developing user interface components and implementing them following well-known React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux). You will be able to see the entire technology stack and ensure that your components work with the overall application. You will coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure, a team that is committed to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and high-quality products. Responsibilities

• Developing new user-facing features using React.js & Vue.js
• Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
• Translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code
• Staying up-to-date with all recent developments in the NodeJS, JavaScript, and React.js space
• Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in software development
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
  • Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
  • Good understanding of HTML5 and CSS3, including Sass
  • Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)
  • Familiarity with newer specifications of ECMAScript
  • Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js)
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs
  • Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
  • Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools
  • Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
  • Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
  • A knack for benchmarking and optimization
  • Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git

The client provides generous benefits packages.The client's offices are near West Palm Beach, FL. Our client will accept candidates up and down the east coast, working during EST business hours. Some travel to FL may be required.
