Relocation assistance is not availableLitigation Attorney / Partner (Portable Business NOT Req.) - HYBRID DescriptionOur client is looking for a Litigation Attorney & Partner to add to their successful and well-respected law firm in Miami, Florida. This position will be a named Partner from day one and will be set up on an Equity Partnership Track, for which the Firm will develop a 1-2 year roadmap with established K.P.I.'s. The Firm promotes positive work culture, maintains reasonable billable hours, and allows the flexibility to work from home up to two days per week. In this role, you will provide leadership and strategy for the Litigation Department (12 team members: 6 Attorneys + 6 support staff) and oversee client satisfaction, profitability, team cohesion, and administration. The ideal candidate will be passionate about business/commercial litigation, results-oriented, ambitious, and eager to leverage their leadership skills to elevate the team and client experience. --- Work closely with Litigation Team to provide recommendations for resolving legal issues
--- Handle cases at any stage of litigation from inception through post-trial
--- Prepare and conduct depositions, substantive hearings, evidentiary hearings, and trials
--- Develop and implement case strategy
--- Draft substantive pleadings, motions, briefs, and other necessary legal documents
--- Discovery management
--- Communicate with clients and provide status updates
--- Demonstrate exceptional legal research and writing skills
--- Establish and implement departmental process improvements as needed
--- Effectively manage multiple clients, a team of attorneys, and competing prioritiesLitigation Attorney / Partner (Portable Business NOT Req.) - HYBRID Qualifications--- Florida Bar License with eligibility to practice law in good standing is required
--- 8+ years of business and/or commercial litigation experience required
--- Courtroom experience as First Chair is required
