Job Description:

EveryMundo ( ) is a fast-growing, global provider of Marketing Technology to over 50 airlines worldwide. We are adding a Human Resources Senior Manager to lead our HR team, based in our Miami headquarters.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable moving between the strategic and tactical, with at least five (5) years of HR experience designing and implementing scalable People Operations programs in growth company environments.

Role Responsibilities:

Culture Management

Act as a role model for the company’s values and spearhead activities to ensure those values are defined, understood, and practiced

Manage and optimize employee recognition systems and practices

Ensure the use of two-way communications and employee feedback tools and platforms

Identify and implement opportunities to improve the employee experience, particularly in light of our current remote workforce status. Assess current programs and propose innovative ways to improve

Identify key drivers of employee engagement and partner with leaders to maintain high levels of engagement through surveys and action plans

Recruiting and Talent Acquisition

Manage execution of our recruiting plan in order to achieve measurable recruiting goals.

Ensure available opportunities are advertised in appropriate venues to attract a diverse candidate pool, internally and externally.

Ensure appropriate use of recruiting medium (e.g., social/professional medium, state job service, local universities/colleges, recruiting agencies, and community-based organizations).

Network with local organizations and peers to source candidates for current or future openings.

Facilitate interdepartmental transfers and promotions and transfers or promotions to other properties within the brand.

Partner with department managers and recruiting professionals to recruit management positions, make hiring decisions, and negotiate job offers in accordance with policy.

Talent Development and Business Continuity

Participate in the planning of our on-going organizational succession, and talent management process.

Manage the performance appraisal process and executes on talent development

Oversee the hourly performance appraisal processes and supports managing the leadership appraisal process

Foster and support management on building high performing teams

Talent Development and Business Continuity

Oversee the hourly performance appraisal processes and support managing the leadership appraisal process.

Support strategy and execution of employee performance reviews and goal setting

Employee Relations and Communication

Address employee concerns in a timely manner

Proactively identify ways to address employee questions and feedback before they become issues

Develop and execute programming to ensure an engaged work environment by implementing and managing employee activities and events.

Legal and Compliance Practices

Ensure compliance and education concerning HR policies (e.g. Sexual Harassment, Non-Harassment, Non-Discrimination).

Ensure all HR processes and practices are in compliance with federal, state and local laws (e.g. wages – OT, separation pay, recruiting –background checks).

Manage Workers Compensation claims to ensure appropriate employee care and costs management.

Comp & Benefits Education and Administration

Oversee the HR Department’s handling of all compensation and benefits processes and policies.

Educate employees on the various types of benefits available and eligibility requirements


Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Management or equivalent education and/or college degree. Master’s Degree preferred.


Minimum of five years experience in Human Resources Management or Administration

Computer Skill & Other Technical Skills: Computer literate in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Meaningful HRIS experience is strongly preferred.

Communication: Advanced ability to comprehend, speak, and write in English. Knowledge of additional language(s) preferred. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Licenses or Certifications: SPHR or SHRM-SCP preferred.

3-Month Goals

Become intimately familiar with the following:

All of the people in the company, individually, and company organizational structure

The company culture and value system, purpose, and mission

Current culture maintenance and building activities that have arisen due to our fully remote workforce status

The products we offer the market, the current major customers, and our strategic plan

The key systems and providers we use for People Operations – recruiting, personnel and benefits management, payroll, expense management, 401K, etc.

Company handbook and policies

Support existing Q4 employee engagement and culture-building activities. Begin to formulate opinions about ways to improve the employee experience.

Identify Key HR Initiatives for 2021 and formulate a preliminary plan of attack and general timeline for each:

Compensation analysis– ensuring our marketing competitiveness and clarity to applicants

Execute on hiring plan and define employee lifecycle

Succession and career growth plan, detailing the long-term potential career paths for Mundos

Establish an administrative cadence so all Mundos are clear on issue management, conflict resolution, and general Mundo support

Define communication plan to Company

Define working plan with Company leadership personnel

6-Month Goals

Complete first executional items on the Key HR Initiatives and layout detailed plan for the remainder of year

Deliver detailed Execution Plan for People Ops department, including expansion/hiring plans and evolution of responsibilities and company impact

Identify key company systems, methods, and policies pertinent to People Ops to consider for change, enhancement, elimination, etc.

Formally define all key processes for People Ops and participation from Mundos

Work with Finance to define departmental budgets

Implement an improved communication and information exchange process across EveryMundo

Year Goals

Execute the plan for Key HR Initiatives

Define, measure and execute on Efficient Company Growth KPIs

Evolve and improve all company systems and policies in accordance with the growth trajectory of the Company

Set longer-term agenda for the HR department, focused on productive growth
