Clinical Patient Services Coordinator (Food & Nutrition

Performs a variety of duties including the planning and
supervision of patient food assembly and services. Ensures patient
safety, satisfaction and good public relations are achieved through
the safe and efficient use of resources.
Associate degree or Dietary Manager Certification required
1 year work experience in patient food area
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
Works with leader to develop goals and oversees implementation
of patient food services needs based upon medical direction,
patient population and contract.
Coordinates duties of patient services team members.
Provides feedback to leader regarding performance of team
Complies with dietary restrictions on special or modified diets
to ensure optimal food preferences are met within guidelines of
diet order limitations.
Complies with federal, state and local health and sanitation
regulations and department sanitation procedures. Maintains a
clean, sanitary working environment
Complies with regulatory agencies, including federal, state, and
DNV-GL as evidenced by successful completion of surveys with no
Completes all required documentation, reports and logs in a
timely, professional and thorough manner.
Assists in achieving stated patient satisfaction goals.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: One year experience using CBORD
Able to effectively operate hospital’s admission, discharge
and transfer (ADT) system, and other computer-based systems,
which manage patient-care records, such as CBORD
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules,
operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions,
percentages, area, circumference, and volume; ability to apply
concepts of basic algebra
