Job Description - Team Lead Network Operations (18808) Job Description Team Lead Network Operations - 18808 Description Job Summary The Team Leader is principally responsible for leading the installation of LANs and networking technologies for NCH clients, and training and supporting clients and their networks. The Team Leader configures the equipment and software to meet client business needs, trains the customer on the solution, and documents the solution for ongoing support. 5 years of administration, configuration and maintenance of servers and networks in an operations technical role. Bachelor of Science in Computer Sciences/ Information Systems/related major or 5 years equivalent work experience in server or network analysis. #INDLB #CA-LB Qualifications Essential Duties and Responsibilities Communicates effectively with NCH clients and NCH staff; builds a good working relationship with the client. Develops and maintains a broad background in NCH core technology offerings; adapts to and quickly learns new technologies and products. Ensures the security of NCH's information systems and compliance with proposed HIPAA security regulations. Leads NCH project teams and assists in management of assigned projects with the Project Management Department Leads project implementation teams and manages project activities. Leads the integration services to NCH clients, including all operations teams responsible for the configuration of servers, workstations, and internetworking equipment on servers and workstations; ensures technical excellence in service delivery to maximize up time and customer satisfaction and to minimize down time. Manages the integration of advanced technologies into client environments, Participates in development of quality assurance steps, technical standards, and operational procedures. Prepare work product documentation, checklists, training materials and standards documents to ensure a high-quality of service delivery and maximize NCH efficiency and effectiveness. Proposes, recommends, evaluates and designs networks, computer systems, computer applications, telephone systems, processes and procedures to further NCH's mission. Provides telephone/modem/on-site support to NCH customers, independently troubleshooting technical problems by analyzing the problem and applying a scientific methodology to resolve the problem promptly and cost-effectively. Tests all work, and involve the client in acceptance testing to ensure their needs are met; ensures that client systems are fully functional and meet the client's business needs. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Additional professional certifications such as MCSE, MCSA, MCP, CISSP, CISA, CCIE, CCNA, CCNP, etc. may be required. Basic understanding of the fundamentals of IP-based networks. Expertise with SAN fabric networking such as EMC, IBM etc., Must be a team player with excellent communication and customer service skills. Must be willing to participate in on-call rotations. Must have a desire to learn about all aspects of IT operations. Must possess strong troubleshooting skills with servers, desktops, storage devices, etc.
