Head, Global Cyber & Data Defense (GCDD) Miami R&D - Security Experienced Responsibilities - Identify and develop the Global Cyber and Data Defense Program worldwide.- Maintains a strong working relationship with global technology, security, engineering and business leaders to partner in the delivery of projects and programs that have global program effectiveness impact.- Develops, assists in the selection process of Global Security extended management team and motivates highly effective associates within the Global Security Organization.- Produces necessary metrics to demonstrate overall completeness of TikTok's cyber defensive program, engineering and operations efforts, and the efficacy of global control platforms.- Delivers programs and services to support and integrate cross portfolio technology platform capabilities and provides oversight of data defense activities between GLOBAL SECURITY and all of the company's businesses.- Monitors all projects within the portfolio to ensure processes are being followed and goals achieved, including completing milestones on time and within budget and an effective change management process.- Responsible for budget and team resource management and for robust security reporting. Uses knowledge and experience to develop organizational and Enterprise wide strategic planning.- Develops and implements all operational programs, special operating practices, goals, objectives, and performance standards/ metrics. Bears full accountability for company wide threat management, containment, incident handling, and global monitoring of converged security matters as well as, customer satisfaction, and manager accountability for direct reports.- Operates as a senior business operations protection leader for the business representing the CSO Office as well as the advocate for the company's cyber and data defensive operations and technology platforms communicating the value of Security across the company and with external customers.- Provide a strategic point of view for cyber control technology and service operations and enhancements that can be impacted by new technologies (cloud, mobility, virtualization), and business drivers (M&A, new business models).- Deliver complex data and cyber defense capabilities (people, process, and technology) to identify, deter, and mitigate security threats and risks that may impact the business through a holistic global program oriented approach.- Work globally internally and externally with key stakeholders to identify, and oversee technical security defensive and preventive operations, technical platform defense management, financial crimes technology adoption, and business incident adjunct support with a Risk centric approach to the designs for remediation.- Design operationally ready best practice technical security services for programs within his / her purview and solutions to prevent and defend the global corporate infrastructure and business processes.- Monitoring, managing, and coordinating the policy, standards, and control architectures as defined by the Office of the CSO or his designee for platform defense, information collection, and cataloging of activities from a variety of public and private security related information sources to enable over the horizon threat prevention programs as necessary.- Assist in the assessment of severity levels for security threats (e.g., incidents, vulnerabilities, malicious code) and help coordinate the appropriate notifications or escalations in a timely manner to operational security teams, risk management, and executive security leadership team as required.- Assess, document and implement mitigation strategies for newly discovered threats or vulnerabilities that may impact the company as part of a security gap.Work as a team with other members of the Global Security executive leadership team as well as members of the corporate technology global leadership team to implement lifecycle assurance processes that enable an integrated approach to embedded security capabilities within the company's global infrastructure - Work with members of the GLOBAL SECURITY, HR, and Legal workforce protection and investigative support teams to assure the availability of threat detection and deterrence platforms for the safety of the workforce, and integrate seamlessly into a converged monitoring, alerting, and response platform.- Align the security consulting aspects of the job function with the appropriate areas of the GLOBAL SECURITY functions like the Risk Management or Privacy functions to provide an integrated approach to the way in which the GLOBAL SECURITY is engaged by the business providing a "One GLOBAL SECURITY" approach. Qualifications The successful candidate will be responsible for leading these efforts for the company worldwide across a broad set of security disciplines providing an integrated security ecosystem to deter, detect, defend, and respond to business impacting security, operational security and risk issues. The candidate must have expert skills in technical platform assurance, operations program assurance, application security program execution including security development lifecycle operations and enhancements, conducting technical analysis of security and business problems, provide world class security engineering services, and manage and maintain an international operational data defense program. The candidate must also have the ability to communicate well, motivate and lead cross functional executive, management, and individual contributor teams independently, participate in coordinating response and defensive actions over a variety of security disciplines, and disseminate technical information as appropriate in support of the company's critical business, go to market, and operational infrastructure needs.
