Job Description - Organizational Culture Project Specialist (19678) Job Description Organizational Culture Project Specialist - 19678 Description Job Summary
Responsible for the strategic planning, development, and coordination of all internal employee engagement programs and activities that promote organizational initiatives and support talent strategies. Maintains close interaction with leaders to ensure employee engagement by using open, interactive, and effective communications tools including graphics, digital media, videos, social media, and print collateral. Plans, coordinates, and promotes recognition programs and special events as related to Talent Management activities and initiatives. Plans and develops learning solutions that deliver effective knowledge and skill transfer for staff and leader development programs. Job Specific Duties

  • Researches and provides learning solutions that deliver effective knowledge & skill transfer, including instructor-led, e-learning, job aides, etc., in collaboration with Org Development department.--
  • Develops/implements project plans & leads project management phases for organizational development engagements to attain desired outcomes & accomplish objectives within specified timeframe & budget.--
  • Facilitates the design and delivery of Engagement & Development Programs. Develops online support tools and orientation guidelines for new hires to help drive employee engagement and retention.--
  • Develops and executes change management plans for projects, initiatives, organizational structure, and culture changes.
  • Generates visually appealing booklets, presentations, newsletters, and graphic flyers as part of engagement campaigns and development programs.
  • Collaborates closely with IT to continuously develop and upgrade the employee portal site on SharePoint.--
  • Responsible for planning and coordinating employee special events, i.e. quarterly employee events, employee service awards, director events, admin days, etc.--
  • Creates and promotes a yearly calendar of employee events taking place throughout the health system with the objective of yielding highest employee participation.--
  • Manages employee recognition program and rewards store to ensure timely processing of redemptions and regular audits of recognitions submitted.-- #CA-JB #INDHP Qualifications
    • Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Business or related field--
    • 2-4 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, employee communications/relations, or marketing/advertising
    • Experience with the use of the internet/intranet system such as SharePoint and/or any other employee portals networks Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
      • Experience working in an Education or HR department preferred.
      • Effective English verbal communication and writing skills, public speaking, and listening skills.
      • Ability to interview and gather information from all levels of staff.
      • Ability to facilitate different types of group discussions and meetings (e.g., focus groups, brainstorming, mind mapping, etc.)
      • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities, meetings, or exceeding deadlines.
      • Demonstrated excellent writing and editing skills.
      • Knowledge of public relations, media, and basic internal communication strategies.
