Job Description:
A social services agency serving Palm Beach County is currently
seeking two Community Technology Navigators--to work in targeted
communities in West Palm Beach and Riviera Beach.The Community
Technology Navigator--(CTN) will work in a specific target
community to assist and support the community and residents'
journey to digital self-sufficiency and will facilitate community
driven solutions to ensure residents have equitable access to
technology, the skills and abilities to use technology effectively,
and the opportunity to participate in online systems. The CTN will
develop working relationships among local residents, providers, and
anchor institutions as a trusted partner to deliver technology
solutions to vulnerable households in a culturally competent
manner. The CTN provides support directly to residents in
one-on-one and group settings and may be provided in-person, over
the phone, via email, text, video call, and additional methods as
necessary. After assessing individual technology needs, the CTN
will help connect families and households with available solutions
in close coordination with local and county partners.QUALIFIED
CANDIDATES WILL HAVE:--- High school diploma, Bachelor's degree
preferred, may exchange years of education with years of
experience.--- Minimum two (2) years' experience in IT Support
(Tier II or III) or Network Administration.--- Bi-lingual in
English and Spanish or Creole is a plus.--- Possess effective
computer skills & communication skills with a focus on customer
service.--- Flexibility in work hours, including evenings and
weekends.Salary: $35k-$45k/yr, plus benefits. Why should you apply?
