- Leads the preparation and execution of event plans, budgets,
scripts, schedules, printed material, contracts, and publicity in
consultation with Donor Relations and Stewardship Officer II, as
- Coordinates virtual and onsite event logistics. Oversees
university wide cultivation and stewardship events that include,
but are not limited to: Football President's Suite, Because of You
Scholarship Breakfast, Carnival Mentor Day, and Bespoke Top Donor
Salon Events. Acts in a supportive role for Ignite Breakfast and
Alumnus of the Year Reagan House Dinner.
- Responsible for procurement of goods and services for the
department as it relates to recognition and stewardship events.
Contracts services of the university and external vendors. Ensures
that the university's trustees and other top donors and donor
prospects are included in appropriate university events and are
recognized for their service and generosity. Conducts post-event
filing and archiving (in RE and share drive)
- Assists with the coordination of the stewardship and
recognition messages sent as follow-up to an event on an ongoing
basis on behalf of the President and Senior Vice President of
University Advancement with the assistance of the Donor Relations
and Stewardship Officer I. Creates and distributes event-related
correspondence (invitation, confirmation, follow-up).
- Assists in the development of effective donor recognition
strategies, including yearlong, highly individualized projects.
Coordinates general recognition and donor gifts including birthday
recognition and correspondence, holiday cards/gifts, special
recognition or engagement gifts, and special flowers/gift baskets.
Tracks gift premiums inventory and procures new items as needed.
Also works on gift premium fulfillment(wrap, coordinate pick-up,
log into spreadsheet, add in RE).
- Assists with departmental planning and organization. Oversees
departmental calendar and maintains DRS storage and inventory. Also
responsible for any departmental filing and archiving. Works to
update the DRS manual as needed.
- Maintains data integrity for DRS. Provides reports on event(s),
as needed. Project manage student assistant or gift services
contact. Data entry (bio info, relationships). Updates and
maintains event records in RE by entering donor relations actions
and event attributes. Also uses ImageNow.
- Interprets and implements policies and procedures as they apply
to an assigned area. May recommend changes on policy and procedures
as necessary. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree and one (1)
year of experience planning and coordinating events. Desired
Qualifications Some donor relations and stewardship experience
