Job Description:

Our client is an industry-leading high-end interior design studio based out of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. As a full-service design studio providing interior design, custom furniture, and home staging for some of the most exclusive properties in America, our client is looking for an ambitious and experienced B2B Account Executive to help drive new business development and client retention functions.

The ideal candidate will be local to the Miami-Fort-Lauderdale-Area and have 5-8 years of experience in luxury brand sales, preferably staging sales, project management, and or interior design. The Account Executive will be a relationship manager with a combination of design skills, real estate understanding, as well as tenacious negotiation skills needed to win in the market.

Working closely with the design team, the Account Executive will be client-focused, helping to win new business accounts and creating continued repeat project pipelines, which can then be managed by the design team. Typically handling 120+ projects a year, the ideal candidate will be able to negotiate the scope of the job and what components go into a service and product contract, have a detailed understanding of design (i.e. the difference between mid-century modern vs eclectic), and be comfortable doing a high volume of outbound calls and appointment setting in order to win new business.

KEY DELIVERABLES/OBJECTIVES:
Maintain a client portfolio with an annual gross revenue of $3,250,000 min
Focus on new client acquisition with a min of 25%($800,000) of gross revenue being new clients.
Achieve an average Square foot price on all full staged projects of no less than $4.15 per square foot.
Achieve a better than 75% sales productivity target Annually, and a min of 60% pre-quarter.
Drive furniture sales sell-through opportunities on all installed projects, facilitating a sell-through rate of 3%.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
3-5 years of luxury brand sales experience preferably staging sales, project management, and or interior design.
Must have strong negotiation skills and be able to discuss cost, scope, and expectations with potential clients, and convert the same into a contract agreement.
Must understand real estate sales, and general market conditions. Able to effectively leverage this knowledge into creating a value proposition with clients for staging services.
Technology competent, able to leverage a sales CRM, design software, and company website to create a truly new experience in design and staging for our clients.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:
5-8 years of applicable work experience.
Experience with Google workspace environment including sheets, slides, and drive.
Ability to multitask and prioritize key deliverables over day-to-day operational challenges.
Comfortable with local travel within the existing market, as well as occasional (less than 15%) travel to new markets.
Ability to present to both C-Suite as well as large retail channel partners.
Secondary Degree, with transferable skills.

COMPENSATION:
Base + Commission + Benefits (Mileage/Parking, Equipment, Cell-phone reimbursement)
(the commission would be based on the square footage of the home and the staging cost, and then additional commission if the home buyer decides to buy the product).

This is a hybrid in-office and remote role with local travel within the existing market and to new markets required (less than 15% of the time).
