Job Description

  • Lead consultatively at executive level within the client
  • Proactively leads strategic account planning process and in partnership with the Commercial Account lead ensuring development of robust strategic plans to drive growth, solutions design, development and oversight with a focus on increasing wallet share, modelling the accounts vision and values and oversees their adoption
  • Manage governance across multiple programs and trials at the client account, focused on the long term ARR, customer retention goals and the partnership health
  • Leads in assessing, clarifying and validating customer needs on a regular basis, partnering to develop creative strategic initiatives that best address customer needs while simultaneously coordinating the involvement of necessary stakeholders, driving deeper account penetration and growth
  • Drives digital protocol strategies in partnership with the Therapy Area and Science teams, which identify clinical efficiencies. Articulate and demonstrate Medable's differentiating strategies which can create further value within studies and across the development pipeline
  • Builds strong and long-lasting relationships with customers through the creation of long-term planning and understanding. Ensures all who interact with the customer are briefed and understand the requirements and culture of working with them, ensuring partnership health
  • Highly collaborative, works cross functionally to align goals
  • Operates in a transparent, proactive, collaborative and accountable way, holding the entire team accountable
  • Develop and execute change initiatives that impact and influence the organisation to be more customer centric and supports customer on their DCT journey
  • Oversee and facilitate the gathering of research and data on the customer, clearly articulate customer vision and mission and how Medable can dovetail to support this
  • Partners internally to ensure alignment of customer requirements with Medable Roadmap
  • Measures account performance, weighing it against the business's targets and KPIs, which also enables the identification of areas of improvement and avails crucial information for strategic development of the business
  • Other duties as assigned
    • 10+ years of industry experience in the Clinical trial execution space within CRO or Pharma
    • Proven and successful track record of key account management and establishing strong and long-term customer relationships, retention of existing and development of new
    • Demonstrated ability to set and clearly articulate strategy independently and drive delivery
    • Demonstrated ability to effectively translate customer needs (expressed and unexpressed) into a successful account plan that drives growth in share of market
    • Demonstrated ability to set 3+ year account plans
    • Successfully able to map customer strategy, culture and ecosystem to enhance business opportunities and success
    • Strong executive presence with ability to effectively interact with and influence customers at the senior level
    • Strong ability to partner internally to clearly articulate account needs and engage the right teams to deliver exceptional performance

      Travel as required to attend internal and external meetings globally.
