Job Description:

Our client is a top lighting company, with over 50 years in successful business growth. They are hiring a Lighting Quotations professional to help deliver on project RFQs. This Lighting Quotations professional will work with internal and external teams to develop quotations for a variety of lighting projects. This person will leverage an expertise in the lighting marketplace as well as strong negotiation skills to support the company's profit goals. This Role Offers:

  • Support lighting projects with accurate quotes that reflect the current market.
  • Foster and maintain relationships with customers to gain understanding of their needs and project requirements.
  • Work alongside internal sales teams as well as external resources like manufacturers and vendors to secure the best terms. Negotiate buy outs as necessary.
  • Quote materials needed for projects of all sizes, gathering pricing from manufacturers/vendors.
  • Work closely with sales team to provide excellent lighting design services to clients. Skill Set:
    • Background in quotation delivery, including RFQ creation, submittal requests, and budgeting.
    • Buy out experience, preferred.
    • Understanding of lighting products, solutions, regulations, and the industry.
    • Bachelor's degree in relevant field a plus.
    • Keen mathematical ability, to be able to deliver detailed and accurate appraisals and RFQs.
    • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to create buy in from others on big picture goals.
    • Expertise in MS Office and other computer systems.
