• Remote applicants will not be consideredOnyx Funding is a leading commercial real estate mortgage brokerage that provides real estate investors, operators, and developers with the most robust suite of financing solutions to meet their projects' needs and strategies.The ideal candidate for this position will be very organized and detail-oriented.Job ResponsibilitiesThe Loan processor will work directly with borrowers, loan officers, 3rd party partners, and lenders to facilitate timely loan closings and ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Coordinate and prepare documents necessary for verifications and underwriting such as loan files, loan packages, reports, and additional commercial mortgage application paperwork
  • Act as a liaison between clients, lenders, and originators.
  • Effectively manage a pipeline of 30+ loans
  • Proactively work to solve issues and provide solutions
  • Organize, index, and evaluate received documentation.
  • Follow up and respond to customer and in-house inquiries on transactions as needed in order to provide superior customer service
  • Communicate with clients, lenders, title, and insurance
  • Track outstanding items on loan files and follow up with customers
  • Identify potential roadblocks or credit policy alignment issues, and work with sales and other operations teams to determine the best approach.Qualifications
    • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to prioritize and multi-task
    • Strong organization skills
    • Must be detail-oriented and results-driven
    • Prior experience with residential or commercial loan processing or underwriting is a plus
    • Prior experience working in a customer-centric environment which includes direct interaction with clients via email
    • Strong computer skills including experience with Microsoft Word & Excel/Google Suite.
