Job Description:
The Communications Coordinator is responsible for assisting the
Paramount LATAM Communications Department in coordinating publicity
efforts and internal communications programs across a variety of
digital and video platforms that further the Company's mission,
values, and culture.
ResponsibilitiesPublicity
- Gather and coordinate departmental weekly reports (GCC
Editorial Calendar and The Scoop)
- Draft senior executive presentations and scripts for external
communications, presentations, and events
- Assist brand and country communication leads with translating
press releases
- Prepare executive bios, headshots, quotes, and talking
points
- Coordinate and deliver press clippings report and industry
highlights (Week in Review)
- Maintain quality control, branding standards, and handle
proofing of all materials - attention to detail at every stage of
production is essential
Internal Communications
- Produce live broadcasts briefings (Town Hall) via video
conference
- Compile creative briefs for graphic and video assets to support
multi-media internal communication efforts
- Manage content and publishing on internal social media platform
(Workplace by Facebook)
- Oversee and execute other Paramount internal priority
projects
- Provide careful translation of internal materials
Other Duties
- Assist with budgeting for the department including processing
invoices and assist tracking payments for vendors
- Manage calendar of internal communications activities to avoid
message conflicts
- Maintain organization of team files (Teams)
- Provide direct project support to VP in a timely and efficient
manner
Qualifications
- Must be Bilingual (English/Spanish); Portuguese preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in communications, marketing, journalism, or
related field plus 3 years of experience
- Superior verbal/written communications skills and strong
project and event management experience
- Experience in publishing and content production for corporate
intranets
- Attention to detail, highly organized
- Ability to work independently with general guidance on outcomes
and objectives
- Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities and
deadlines
- Fast learner, self-starter, and team player
- Good eye for visual communications
- Light design, video editing, and technology skills (SharePoint,
Adobe Creative Cloud, etc.)
- Coachable; intrinsically motivated to achieve excellence,
continually grow, and learn/experiment with new methods and
approaches
- Knowledge of MS Office Suite and/or other software applications
related to job functions
Physical Demands
- Physical demands include a considerable amount of time sitting
and typing/keyboarding, using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse,
and monitor).
- Physical demands with activity or condition may occasionally
include walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping
