POSITION SUMMARY:
The Financial Wellness department within Branches, targets the
well-being of the entire community through services fostering
financial stability and long-term financial success. The programs
take a Two-Generation Approach to serving families and primarily
provides assistance in Miami-Dade County. The Affordable
Connectivity Program (ACP) Navigator will promote general awareness
intended to inform, educate, and encourage participation in the
Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP).
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Direct Service (70%)
Serve as point of contact for the Affordable Connectivity Program
(ACP).
Plan and deliver educational briefings and supporting literature to
community members.
Initiate and strengthen community partnerships to garner awareness
of the ACP.
Identify unconnected households and support through the
registration process.
Lead workshops, seminars and participant educational events.
Provide participants with regular updates pertaining to the
ACP.
Data and Administration (30%)
Input ACP data into data software.
Document, track and monitor information on ACP participants, goals,
services and activities provided.
Manage all administrative responsibilities related to ACP.
Collect all personally identifiable information (PII) from
participants to assist with finalizing enrollment.
Report ACP outcomes as required.

WORKING CONDITIONS
Work is performed either in regular office conditions (25%) or in
an afterschool enrichment setting providing services to children
and families (70%) at the Branches Community Center site. Various
types of meetings may be conducted in other parts of Miami-Dade
County that will require some travel (5%). These meetings may
include program specific trainings, partner and volunteer
development, outreach to the neighborhood, among other meetings.
The program will have some evening and weekend service events or
programming. Reliable transportation may be needed as the position
requires commuting to meetings and trainings, some of which may be
on evenings or weekends.

*Candidate must be authorized to work in the United States. We do

Requirements:
Education and Experience
- Minimum Associate degree: however, Bachelor's degree is
preferred, but not required.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish or English Creole) required.
- Experience in facilitating trainings and educational
seminars.
- Experience in community organizing is a plus.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office.
