Primary Responsibilities:



  • Uses pertinent data and facts to identify and solve a range of problems within area of expertise


  • Investigates non-standard requests and problems, with some assistance from others


  • Has basic knowledge of practices and procedures in a function or skill


  • Prioritizes and organizes own work to meet deadlines


  • Provides explanations and information to others on topics within area of expertise


  • Responds to routine or standard requests


  • Demonstrate understanding of applicable products for different customers


  • Demonstrate an understanding of and utilize applicable tools (e.g. MEPCOM, Tableau)


  • Analyze network and/or provider performance along key indicators (e.g., compliance with regulatory audits; financial performance; Benefit Cost Ratio; risk adjustment scores; prevalence rates; Unit Cost Reduction Trend) to determine which programs to implement and/or modify


  • Research information regarding key network characteristics and contracting strategies to develop products and programs and support Single Case agreements and network adequacy needs


  • Ensure relevant contract and demographic information is loaded into the applicable platform to support analysis and review via Tableau


  • Review and/or analyze member/provider population information (e.g., cultural information; demographics; geographic coverage) to determine potential network gaps in care and risk adjustment indicator opportunities-Implement new rates with contracted providers based on provider performance

    Required Qualifications:



    • Associate's Degree OR 2+ years of -data analysis experience (including military)


    • 1+ years of experience in provider network or healthcare setting


    • Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential -job function -of this role. Candidates located in states that mandate COVID-19 booster doses must also comply with those state requirements.       Preferred Qualifications:



      • Bachelor's Degree


      • 6+ months -of utilizing data visualization -tools (e.g. Tableau)


      • 6+ months of data analytics, auditing, or data integrity experience

        Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: -The salary range for Colorado residents is $26.15 to $46.63. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $28.85 to $51.30. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
