We are seeking a Claims Coordinator to join our friendly, motivated team. The Claims Processor will process medical claims, and provide assistance to customers and administrative staff. The candidate must possess interpersonal, analytical problem-solving, organization, time management, communication and customer service skills. Responsibilities: The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Examining, processing, and calculating medical claims insuring filings, documentation and reportsAssisting claimants, providers, and clients with problems or questions regarding their claims and/or policiesProcess medical claim reimbursements for gapTransfer deductiblesHelp file Short and Long Term Disability ClaimsAssist with Medication IssuesAssist with authorizationsVerify benefitsProvide insurance information to providersAssist with appealShift:Monday to FridayJob Benefits:Competitive base salary ( Salary increase by performance )Health Insurance BenefitsAdditional Insurance benefitsPaid vacationPaid Holidays401K

Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)High school diploma or general education degree (GED)Six to 12 months of related experience and/or training (or equivalent combination of education and experience)Ability to read and interpret documents such as medical and drug manuals, and procedure manualsAbility to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusionsSkill and ability to read and understand manuals, medical terminology, and insurance claimsAbility to handle high volumes of claims and work independently with minimal supervisionMust be a multitasker and have time management skillsMust be Bilingual English/ Spanish.Excel, Microsoft and Outlook skills.Team working and positive attitude.PI201380073
