Job Description:
Job DescriptionThe Applications Specialist will work as an
administrator within the Siebel application. The incumbent will
also work on application configuration, go-live support, and
on-going client support. This includes understanding process flows,
application rules, Siebel database structure, identifying /
creating cases for enhancements or existing defects, communicating
requirements to the programmers, UAT testing / test script writing,
and participating in deployments. Additional responsibilities
involve executing database transfers, initiating transfers for
training purposes, database creation for new hires, database
refreshing for existing agents, and dismantling databases upon
separation or promotion. This position plays a key role in
supporting the sales team (PVPs and Sales Coaches) with the Siebel
application. Primary responsibility is to manage the Siebel Support
Mailbox by responding to incoming emails and requests for technical
assistance directly related to the Siebel application, requiring
in-depth knowledge of the Siebel application and technical support
to include assisting with connectivity issues that could result in
significant delays in productivity. Position also supports basic
trouble shooting for all Contact Center applications which include,
Oracle Right Now our Email Management System, Webex Engage
application handling two-way text communications for our outbound
sales team, Stella survey tool, Eloqua email tool and Carnival
Dash. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Accomplish database development work by solving technical and
procedural issues related to the Seibel application; promptly
identifying, documenting, and resolving technical issues with
system functionality, including some advanced complex issues such
as phone connectivity issues which can cause significant delays in
work. These issues typically involve: lead investigation,
transfers, and ownership, managing CRM process flows, managing data
conversion and technical inquiries requiring in-depth knowledge of
the Seibel application
- Assist with User Acceptance Testing and deployments
- Assist with the IMI Engage two-way texting application with
account creation and deactivation
- Assist with updates and communication within our knowledgebase
application (Oracle Right Now)
- Perform primary lead support for the database environment
- Perform lead transfers for database management (account
creation and separations)
- Assist with Siebel training initiatives or presentations as
needed
- Communicate with users regarding changes, upgrades, or
application status QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate's Degree, Related Feld of Study - Required
- Bachelor's Degree, Information Technology - Preferred
- Minimum of 2 years' experience supporting technical issues
within a CRM application required Experience with the Siebel
application is a plus
- Software/Applications include MS-Office, Outlook Express, Excel
and Power Point
- Ability to troubleshoot basic to intermediate computer
problems
- Knowledge of SQL, SAS and the Siebel CRM is a plus
- Ability to explain technical information to users in a way that
the information is easily understood
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to set priorities and meet challenging deadlines
- Ability to learn quickly and multitask
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must have a high level of interpersonal skills to work with all
levels of employees
- Ability to work well on a team and independently #LI-GS1 The
range for this role's base salary is $43,500 - $54,000.Offers to
selected candidates will be made on a fair and equitable basis,
taking into account specific job-related skills and experience. At
