Job 3413 Chief Estimator Heavy Highway Location: Miami, Fl - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Our client that specializes in Heavy Civil / Heavy Highway that is looking for a Chief Estimator for the Miami, Florida area. This is a full-time, permanent position. The Chief Estimator position will prepare, review, and solicit estimates for bidding purposes, perform quantity takeoff and pricing, assists in the preparation of cost estimates, prepare construction budgets from cost estimates, solicit subcontractor and vendor prices, and directs efforts of junior estimators on larger bids. - Candidates MUST be experienced in heavy highway and bridge construction, preferably with 10+ years of experience! *****Salary up to $225K plus & nice benefit Package - Qualifications must include:

• Must be working in the Heavy Highway / Heavy Civil construction industry, AND have experience in Florida DOT and/or Tollway projects in excess of $30 million
• Substantial construction experience and / or engineering background
• Knowledge of B2W or ability to learn same
• Thorough understanding of construction means and methods
• Working knowledge of personal computing and spreadsheet software
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
