Position Specific Description
In this position you will be responsible for supporting the data processing for NextEra Energy Resources development efforts. Primary focused on the creation of a predefined list of topography products from LiDAR and camera data for early-stage site assessment. Employees in this role will be primarily focused on manned and unmanned LiDAR data, visual imagery and deliverable products to ensure quality data and delivered in a timely manner.
Having a background of unmanned LiDAR data, developing raster and vector products and LiDAR fundamentals is required. Preferred skillsets for this position include survey knowledge and terrestrial LiDAR skills, as well as developing and maintaining of GIS databases for increased actionable insights.

  Job Overview
  This position is responsible for developing algorithms, modeling techniques, and optimization methods that support many aspects of NextEra and FPL business. Employees in this role use knowledge of machine learning, optimization, statistics, and applied mathematics along with abilities in software engineering with a focus on distributed computing and data storage infrastructure (i.e., "Big Data").
