Job Description:

A company is looking for a High Exposure Claims Adjuster.
Key Responsibilities:

Review and evaluate claim files for potential serious and large loss exposures, identifying extra-contractual obligations and analyzing cost effectiveness of litigation versus settlement
Maintain workflow by handling assigned claim files promptly and accurately, corresponding with insureds, claimants, and attorneys as necessary
Attend mediations and trials, monitor severity and expenditures, and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures

Required Qualifications:

5-10 or more years of experience in property damage and bodily injury claims, with at least 5 years of casualty experience
Prior litigation experience, specifically in handling high exposure or serious injury claims and claims with EC exposure to the company
Knowledge of automobile damage, bodily injury mechanics, medical terminology, settlement negotiations, and insurance case law
Appropriate jurisdictional experience, preferably in SC, GA, & FL
Experience working with E&O and/or Reinsurance Carriers is a plus
