The Casino Host or Hostess plays an important role in driving incremental casino revenue by ensuring that customers are being cared for and providing courteous, professional, and prompt service. You will develop relationships with every level of gambler, from first-timers to high-profile players. The Casino Host or Hostess is one of the most visible and accessible of all casino employees, and requires an individual that possesses strong business sense and the ability to make difficult decisions or refer them to the Casino Manager.



Career snapshot:

* Welcomes passengers to the casino, describing briefly the services available and clarifies some of the rules and regulations of the casino, while establishing and maintaining a welcoming environment for guests

* Identifies valuable players and informs the Casino Management, Cashiers, and Slot Technicians

* Makes the casino promotion announcements both on the ship's general PA system and within the casino

* Organizes sports betting, including event research and on board marketing, and casino tournaments (Blackjack, Roulette, Slot Machines, etc.)

* Responsible for keeping the casino advertising in the Diario de Abordo current and updated
