The Opportunity

Our client is a global equipment manufacturer who has hired us to seek out a Value Stream Leader for their Ft. Lauderdale, FL location.



This position reports to the Value Stream Manager and is responsible for overseeing daily operations for assigned production areas while championing continuous improvement initiatives.



Other responsibilities include:

Mentoring and coaching Supervisors to build leadership capabilities and improve team performance
Ensuring all safety protocols are followed and workplace hazards are identified and mitigated promptly
Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) such as production output, downtime, scrap rates, and quality performance
Leading small group problem-solving efforts to address recurring issues and drive process improvements



Qualifications include:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Industrial management, or a related field of study
5+ years of experience in manufacturing or production operations, including 3+ years in a supervisor/leadership role
Experience supervising teams in a lean manufacturing environment
Experience leading multi-functional, diverse, and cross-departmental teams - driving improvements and changes
