Job Description:

Description of Position: As a Learning Systems and Evaluation Specialist for AutoNation, you will work closely with the teams from Learning Design and Development (LD&D), People Development, and Human Resources and Information Systems (HRIS) to provide outstanding learner experiences that impact business outcomes. As a successful professional in this role, you ensure all features and functions in our learning systems are being leveraged, remain current on new learning technologies in the marketplace, and recommend learning systems solutions that will improve the learner experience and drive improved performance. You can turn raw data into easily consumable and reportable intelligence to assist leadership in making data-driven decisions regarding the curricula we offer and the learning platforms we use. You have experience with learning design and development, adult learning, and learning evaluation. You help to identify the areas in which we may need to fire up the development team to create new offerings (usually in response to user and business owner requests). Your typical day will consist of reporting (both regularly scheduled and ad hoc) on learning initiatives, researching new learning systems functionality and testing new features, answering questions from across the enterprise submitted through the AutoNation University email, coordinating locations, materials/supplies, and travel for nationwide training events, etc. Organizational Relationships: Reports to Manager, LD&D Interfaces with Business Leaders Works closely with the following: Learning and HR Leadership Instructional Designer Team People Development Team HRIS Team Primary Job Responsibilities: Managing and administering the Learning Management System (LMS) and other learning systems Training and supporting corporate trainers on the use of the LMS and other learning systems Generating custom reporting from learning systems to measure learning object usage rates and training completion rates, and tie to business outcomes Based on reporting, recommending learning content management adjustments that would improve the learner experience and improve business impact Testing and performing adoption studies for newly released functionality for all learning systems Recommending future improvements to content management, workflow processes, and user experience Creating, deploying and analyzing learning evaluation using Kirkpatrick's Four Levels Model Project management responsibilities which include the introduction of new learning technologies and a platform/process to leverage user generated content. Additional Job responsibilities: Supporting LD&D efforts by tracking development of learning content as requested Coordination of National/Regional/Market training calendars and schedules Logistics coordination for AutoNation University related programs Account administration, relationship management, and invoice processing for the department's vendors and contract trainers Minimum Qualifications: Highschool degree or equivalent 3 years' experience in Learning Management System (LMS) Administration Expertise in Microsoft Excel Experience with managing projects Proven organizational, communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications Innovative and creative thinker. Ability to identify opportunities for improvement Team player. Ability to collaborate and work effectively with peers, internal and external customers.
